El Paso, TX – The El Paso County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a deadly motorcycle crash that occurred on the evening of June 4, 2025, around 7:15 p.m. Deputies responded to the scene at the intersection of Krag Street and Santiesteban Lane.
Preliminary findings indicate a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was heading northbound on Krag Street when a Mercedes sedan, traveling eastbound on Santiesteban Lane, failed to yield the right-of-way at a stop sign and caused a collision.
The motorcyclist, identified as 49-year-old Jason Owens of El Paso, was transported to a local hospital, where he later passed away from his injuries. His next of kin has been notified.
Special Traffic Investigators are handling the case, and the investigation remains ongoing.
