Harris County, TX – Sheriff Ed Gonzalez has announced the arrest of Lansello Martinez (DOB 11-17-2002) in connection with a fatal assault that occurred on the morning of Friday, May 23, 2025, at a gas station located at 13102 Bissonnet near Synott.
According to investigators, Martinez attacked Ye Myint Aung, 38, after allegedly believing the victim had thrown a beer bottle at his car. The suspect reportedly struck Aung’s head approximately 20 times, causing severe blunt force trauma.
The victim succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased on Sunday, May 25, 2025.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office Violent Criminal Apprehension Team (VCAT) located and arrested Martinez late Tuesday night. He has been charged with Murder and booked into the Harris County Jail.
